Market share picks up again
Jumbo reports sales of €10.64 billion for the year 2025. This is slightly less than the €10.72 billion that the retailer published a year ago. However, adjusted for tobacco sales and La Place sales, sales in 2025 grew by €300 million or 3%, according to the company. Market share was around 20%, which is also lower than the 20.5% reported by the retailer a year earlier, but there was an increase in the second half of the year and by Christmas week it had already risen to 21%.
