Caffè Nero has recorded record sales in its British home market over the past six months, mainly due to the popularity of matcha. Between June and November, sales rose by 7 % to 185.4 million pounds (210 million euros).
Two success stories
In the first half of its financial year, sales of matcha rose “remarkably strongly” and boosted sales of iced drinks by half. The new Pistachio Croissant was also a success, according to the company.
