Amazon is expanding its latest generation of Dash Carts to dozens of Whole Foods Market locations in the United States by the end of 2026. The new shopping cart, which allows customers to skip the checkout line, is lighter but offers more features.
Skip check-out altogether
The new Dash Cart has a built-in screen that displays prices and continuously updates the total amount. This allows customers to see how much they are spending while shopping. Amazon links the system to Alexa, so customers can also add to and check off their shopping list on the cart’s screen. In addition, an interactive store map shows where products are located and displays personalized offers nearby.
