Subdued will soon open its fourth Belgian store, in Bruges. The Italian chain already operates stores in Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent, and operates 130 stores worldwide – mainly in Europe.

The store on Zuidzandstraat in Bruges is the fourth store in Belgium for the Italians, Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws writes. In 2013, the brand opened its first Belgian stores in Antwerp and Brussels. The Antwerp store has since closed and reopened at a new location. In the Netherlands, the chain has five stores: Amsterdam (two), The Hague, Rotterdam, and Utrecht.
According to the company, it was founded in the 1990s with “strong and independent teenagers” as its target audience. The chain focuses on Italy and the rest of Europe, but there are also Subdued stores in China, Lebanon, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and the United States.
