Beiersdorf has appointed Jorge Jiménez as country manager for Spain and Portugal. Jiménez succeeds Ana María Morales and will report directly to Anna Grassano-Rauch, Beiersdorf’s general manager for Southern Europe.
Nivea veteran
Jiménez already has more than twenty years of experience at the German personal care and cosmetics group, where he built most of his career within the Nivea brand. He held senior leadership roles in marketing and digital development across emerging markets, covering regions such as Latin America, North Africa and the Middle East, South-East Asia, India, Russia, and Turkey. Most recently, he served as vice-president of marketing for Nivea’s emerging markets.
In his new role, Jiménez will focus on accelerating business growth, boosting innovation, and reinforcing the market positioning of Beiersdorf’s brands in Spain and Portugal. The appointment aligns with the group’s corporate strategy “Win With Care”, which aims to establish Beiersdorf as the world’s leading skincare company.
Founded more than 140 years ago and headquartered in Hamburg, Beiersdorf owns a broad portfolio of brands, including Nivea, Eucerin, La Prairie, Liposan, Hansaplast, Aquaphor, Coppertone and Chantecaille, alongside its subsidiary Tesa SE. In the first quarter of 2025, the group increased sales by 3.6% to 2.69 billion euros, supported by growth of 2.5% at Nivea and a 11.4% increase in its dermo-cosmetics division.
