Beiersdorf is revising its growth forecasts for this year: the producer of Nivea is seeing its sales increase less rapidly than expected. The German beauty products manufacturer is now betting on a better second half-year.
Skin care stagnates
“The global skin care market grew more slowly than expected in the second quarter and in July 2025,” said CEO Vincent Warnery. “As a result, we have adjusted forecasts for the group and the consumer division.” Whereas Beiersdorf had previously forecast organic growth of between 4% and 6% for 2025, this has now been reduced to 3%.
