Upfront opened its first supermarket in Rotterdam today, but is already looking further ahead: the sports nutrition brand is now starting the search for four additional locations.
“More turnover than Apple Store”
Upfront’s first physical store is located on the grounds of the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam, near the offices of the Dutch sports nutrition and protein supplement brand. Co-founder Mark de Boer writes on LinkedIn that the team “gave it their all” to meet the deadline. The founders invested more than €750,000 of their own capital in the project and spent nine months on design and construction.
