White is the colour
The store, located in the Leopoldstraat in Antwerp, is quite conspicuous as basically everything is in white, as to draw the attention towards the products in the store. However, there
is a ‘black concept’ corner in the back of the store, showcasing the more luxurious
aluminum suitcases.
Founded in Germany in 1898, Rimowa has always valued the creation of lightweight suitcases. It became a breakout
success once it started developing aluminum suitcases in 1950, leading the way
for suitcases meant for cameras and filming equipment.
Currently, the brand has settled down in areas like the United States, Austria, Brazil and China, while several
dealers sell its suitcases worldwide.
