Expensive cocoa eats into profits
Revenue increased by 9% to 2.35 billion Swiss francs (approximately 2.5 billion euros) in the first six months of 2025, but this was solely due to significant price increases averaging 15.8 %. Since the price of cocoa has risen by 137 % in a year, even those price adjustments were insufficient to compensate.
