Swedish Lantmännen Unibake has acquired Dutch Boboli Benelux, a producer of focaccias and pizza bases. In doing so, the cooperative obtains its first Dutch production facility and strengthens its position in savoury bakery products.
Bake-off market grows rapidly
Lantmännen Unibake sees Boboli as a crucial building block for expansion in savory products. “The acquisition of Boboli Benelux is a strong step forward in expanding our portfolio and strengthening our position in the fast-growing European bake-off market.
