Consum is accelerating the expansion of its Charter franchising format, with 25 openings in the first half of 2025, 71% of the annual target of 35 stores. Most of the new stores are concentrated in Catalonia and the Valencia region, and the chain expects to keep up the pace in the coming months.
Focus on Catalonia and Valencia
Of the 25 openings, 21 are located in Catalonia and Valencia. In Catalonia, 11 stores are already operating (ten in the province of Barcelona and one in El Vendrell), while in the Valencian Community, ten have been added (seven in the province of Valencia and three in Alicante). Andalusia added three locations – two in the province of Almeria and one in Castellar – and the Region of Murcia added a store in Lorca.
