Far-reaching decision
Zalando is redesigning its European logistics network: the company will close its fulfillment center in Erfurt at the end of September 2026 and cease operations at three warehouses outside Germany that are run by external service providers. With this reorganization, the fashion platform wants to bring the capacity in the combined Zalando and About You network in line with demand and make the infrastructure future-proof, according to a press release on Thursday morning.
