With the launch of the online marketplace Kaufland.fr, French shoppers will have access to more than three million items in more than 6,400 categories. That should quickly become many more.

Earlier this year, Kaufland, Lidl‘s German sister company, had already announced that it would bring its online marketplace to France and Italy. The French launch is now a reality: 2,800 French sellers have already joined. They can use the sales platform to offer their products not only in France, but also in Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria – and soon also in Italy. Some 13,000 sellers are already active on Kaufland’s online marketplaces across Europe.
