Ahead of its IPO in November, Unilever ‘s ice cream division is setting clear growth ambitions as well as cost-cutting plans. The demerged company accounts for more than a fifth of the global ice cream market.
Strong growth
From 2026, The Magnum Ice Cream Company – which also includes brands such as Ben & Jerry’s, Cornetto, Wall’s and Ola – expects to achieve average annual sales growth between 3% and 5%. So said CEO Peter ter Kulve in a presentation to stock market analysts on Tuesday. To improve margins, the company plans to save 500 million euros, including by optimizing the supply chain and downsizing the workforce.
