Lululemon for the first time appoints a “chief AI & technology officer” to accelerate innovation and personalization at the legging manufacturer. The new C-level role goes to Ranju Das, whose experience includes working at Amazon.
“Moment for AI in retail”
Ranju Das starts on September 2 and will report directly to CEO Calvin McDonald. It will be his job to manage the company’s entire technology arm. After all, the sportswear brand wants to use AI to innovate faster, shorten time-to-market and make customer interactions more relevant.
