Clinton, the German fashion company behind the Camp David brand, has purchased the license for the Dutch outdoor and sportswear brand Gaastra. The brand is expected to return to the market in the spring of 2026.
“Brand with a rich tradition”
At the beginning of last year, the Unlimited Footwear Group (UFG), then Gaastra’s parent company, was declared bankrupt by the court. The brand, founded in 1897 in Sneek, Friesland, has faced bankruptcy several times in the past. Now the label is in German hands.
