On 21 August, Dutch fashion chain Costes will open a flagship store of 1200 sqm on Antwerp’s main shopping street Meir. In doing so, the retailer is returning to the street where its first Belgian store opened – eight years ago.
“Strategic Location”
Renovation works are still in full swing in the building next to the sister chain The Sting, but in a few weeks’ time the new store will open its doors with a completely revamped interior concept, the retailer promises. The new store concept should be light, spacious, and designed for a refined yet accessible shopping experience that invites exploration.
“Antwerp is a strategic location for Costes. With this flagship store, we are taking a strong step in our growth in Belgium – with an offering that perfectly meets the needs of the modern, style-conscious woman”, commercial director Anuschka Dhondt explained in a press release.
Costes opened its first Belgian store on the same street in May 2017, but closed it a few years later. In the meantime, the chain has also opened stores in Ghent and Hasselt. In the Netherlands, the chain has 37 stores.
