Leroy Merlin has been hit by a cyberattack: the personal data of hundreds of thousands of customers has been stolen. Bank details and passwords were not affected, the DIY chain emphasises.
Targeted attack
Following car dealer Van Mossel last weekend, French DIY group Leroy Merlin has now also fallen victim to a cyberattack. According to the company, the attackers only stole contact details and information from the loyalty program; they were unable to gain access to bank data. This was reported by LSA.
