Zalando is expanding in Spain with the launch of its beauty division. The German online retailer calls the introduction “strategic” and is bringing skincare products, makeup, and fragrances to Spanish customers.

The range includes face, body, and hair care, nail care, makeup, and perfumes. A few weeks ago, the category also launched in Portugal. After all, beauty is a gateway for many consumers: around 70% of customers who buy beauty products also add fashion items to their shopping basket, Eloisa Siclari, general manager for Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, and Portugal), tells Fashion Network.
