From today, Belgian Zalando customers will also have only thirty days to return purchased items. The retailer had previously shortened the return period in other countries.

The news that Zalando is now also shortening the return period from 100 to 30 days for Belgian customers comes as no surprise: since 7 January, these shorter return periods are already in use for Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
A shorter return period means that items are available to other customers faster, which also allows the platform to reduce its stocks, spokesperson Gilbert Kreijger told RetailDetail last month. In any case, Zalando notes that more than 90% of customers return products within the 30-day period, while returns remain free.
