Belgian fashion brand Caroline Biss opened its first German store in Düsseldorf, its very first step outside of the Benelux region. It has already planned another store, this time in Cologne.
Meet German customers
Caroline Biss’ new 200 sqm store is located on the Grabenstrasse in Düsseldorf. The company has good reasons to choose Düsseldorf, because it is the German fashion capital with a strong concentration of stores.
“In some of our Belgian and Dutch stores, we welcome German customers: women who frequent our stores when they visit cities like Knokke, Antwerp or Maastricht. Most of them come back every season, which is why we have decided to bring one of our stores to these ladies”, CEO Bart Saelen said.
Caroline Biss not only features in multibrand stores, but also has its own store network: 15 stores in Belgium, 9 in the Netherlands and 2 in Luxembourg. However, it does not feel Belgium offers any room for growth, but it does intend to open a few additional stores in the Netherlands.
