Apple wants to expand its Personal Pickup service

Alongside the iPad Pro launch

The service, which launched in the United States in 2011, is now being readied to launch in other countries as well. According to sources, employees in Australia, France and the United Kingdom are currently being trained.

 

The international expansion of the Personal Pickup would happen in November at the earliest, which would pretty much coincide with the launch of the iPad Pro. However, it may also be the case that Apple postpones its plans until later this year.

 

Using Personal Pickup, customers can place their Apple order online and then pick it up at a physical store, even within the hour. A text message or email will inform customers when their product is available for pickup.
