French carpenter Tryba starts Belgian conquest

French windows discounter Tryba has added Belgium to the list of countries in which it is active, following France, Germany, italy and Switzerland. The company aims to add five stores per year in Belgium, gradually expanding tot thirty Belgian stores.

 

Market leader

Tryba is the French market leader in windows and doors in PVC and aluminium, with over 300 stores. Unlike most French companies expanding to Belgium, the first two store openings took place in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium, in Hasselt and Schilde (near Antwerp).

 

The company’s press release states that having sold thousands of windows, doors and roller shutters in Belgium over the last few years, the step to open own stores in the country was a logical one. Local brands like Belisol, Profel, Reynaers and Winsol can prepare themselves for some tough competition…
