Coty has appointed Markus Strobel as interim CEO. The former Procter & Gamble executive will succeed Peter Harf and Sue Nabi on 1 January and will guide the company through a strategic review of its operations.

Strobel spent 33 years at Procter & Gamble and joins Coty “at a crucial moment for the company”, FashionNetwork writes. In September, Coty launched a strategic review of its consumer cosmetics division with the aim of refocusing on fragrances by combining its “prestige” and “consumer” fragrance divisions.
