“Demand has been on the rise for years”
For less than 10 euro per month, subscribers will be able to watch movies on their television, laptop, tablet and smartphone thanks to the Sexflix service which grants customers access to the full Beate Uhse catalog, filled with the biggest titles from well-known studios.
“The demand for high-quality erotic movies online has been on the rise for years, but who ventures online is often caught in a maze of amateur garbage, unsafe websites, subscriptions you can’t get out of and even virus contamination”, CEO Serge van der Hooft said.
The service will launch in September in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and France, with possible expansion planned for both in and outside Europe. It will use a subscription service similar to Netflix and Spotify, meaning you can stop your subscription on a monthly basis.
Beate Uhse will have to compete with some major competition as porn is increasingly easy to find online, while apps like Porn Time are incredibly popular. The app is the ‘sexy equivalent’ of Popcorn Time, which offers free downloads without subscriptions. Porn Time managed more than a million downloads in a month’s time.
