Holland & Barrett and Tesco will join forces in the United Kingdom: a section of Holland & Barrett’s product range will be for sale in Tesco stores, in their own shop-in-shops.
Expand over the summer
The very first Tesco-based Holland & Barrett opened in Dudley on Monday, with several other shop-in-shops planned for the rest of the summer. “We are always looking at new ways our stores can best serve the needs of our customers, so we’re excited to be embarking on this partnership with such a recognised and trusted brand as Holland and Barrett”, Tesco UK CEO Matt Davies said.
It is not the first time Tesco has collaborated with another company to present new products in its stores: it already has a similar collaboration with clothing company Arcadia, which currently sells a number of its major brands in Tesco stores.
Similarly, Holland & Barrett is familiar with the shop-in-shop formula, as it has several Holland & Barrett shop-in-shop locations in Spar stores across the United Kingdom.
