American Apple has made a remarkable move, selling its iPhone 5S on discounter Lidl‘s German web shop.

On Lidl’s web shop, the iPhone 5S will be sold for 349 euro, including shipping costs. No sim lock or subscription will be attached to the smartphone, meaning it can be used with any telecom provider. The chain will provide a Lidl Connect sim card, but there is no obligation to use it.
Lidl’s offer is not as enticing as it may seem however: the iPhone 5S is also available at other web shop’s for the same price or even lower.
