Cacharel opens its own boutiques once more

The first store will open its doors in the Parisian Opéra district, in the fall of 2016, followed by another boutique one year later, this time in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. Its two current shop-in-shops, located in the Printemps and Galeries Lafayette department stores, will also get a new interior design to fit the boutiques’ style.

Worldwide, Cacharel has 24 boutiques and 30 shop-in-shops planned, although the brand also realizes it will have to update its collections.

“Chanel can keep making its famous jacket, but we cannot keep manufacturing Liberty print blouses“, founder and chairman Jean Bousquet told WWD. “We have to adapt to what young consumers want nowadays, which is different from what their mothers wore, although it is still in the same frame of mind.”
