Colruyt may need to reevaluate its strategy
A profit decline of more than 15% is never good news, even if it was somewhat expected. When it published its half-year figures on Wednesday evening, Colruyt Group was unable to surprise investors in a positive way. However, the retailer says it is aiming for stable operating and net results. This assumes a significant improvement in the figures in the second half of the financial year, and the question is how the company intends to achieve this.
