Today, Zalando is launching in three additional markets: Croatia, Estonia, and Latvia. Moreover, the company is expanding its partnership programme into six new markets.

17.5 million potential customers

Zalando is continuously expanding in Central and Eastern Europe: after arriving in Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia earlier this year, the platform has now expanded to Croatia, Estonia and Latvia. “We are delighted to open up the Zalando universe to customers in Croatia, Estonia and Latvia, and offer them beloved and desirable brands in combination with Zalando’s customer experience”, says the head of Central and Eastern Europe, Sarah Guerrier.

At the same time, the company is expanding its partnership programme to all six newly launched markets. Existing brand partners will thus have access to more than 17.5 million potential new customers. In addition, new local retailers can also sign up for the programme and sell their products online through the platform across all of Europe.

Zalando’s appetite for expansion is not satisfied with the newly added countries: the platform has already announced that it will be entering Hungary and Romania next year.
