Holland & Barrett has appointed Thomas Tassone as new Managing Director for the Benelux, following the unexpected departure of his predecessor, Lies Goezinne, last month.

Tassone will take charge of day-to-day management of the Belgian and Dutch branches of Holland & Barrett, the company confirmed to RetailTrends. Goezinne had left in December to look for new horizons, back then without any news of a new destination for her or a successor for the position.
Tassone has been working for the retailer for four years, and various commercial positions there. In 2020, he returned to Europe after gaining eleven years of retail experience at Coles Group, Australia’s second largest supermarket chain.
