French optician discounter Lunettes Pour Tous is opening a fifth Belgian branch in the center of Namur next week. The chain promises glasses for 10 euros, ready in 10 minutes, without an appointment.

Fast and cheap

The fifth Belgian Lunettes Pour Tous store will open at 45 Rue de l’Ange, in the shopping heart of Namur, on 18 September. The brand opened its first Belgian store in 2022 and currently has four stores in the country: two in Brussels and one each in Charleroi and Liège. In France, the chain has 22 branches.

The eyewear chain says it aims to open up the eyewear market with a combination of low prices and fast service. An eye test is free, while stores carry more than 400 frames at prices ranging from 10 to 60 euros. Yhey also have more than 10,000 glasses in stock, allowing them to meet most corrections, even the most complex. Machines in the store grind the glasses to size on site in just a few minutes, allowing customers to go home with their glasses immediately.

Since its founding in 2014, the chain says it has served 1.3 million customers and sold 2.2 million pairs of glasses.
