Gamma is scaling back its Belgian operations to focus on Flanders

In Belgium, the home improvement chain Gamma is shifting its focus away from the French-speaking part of the country to concentrate more attention and investment on Flanders. There, the company aims to expand to 75 to 80 stores in the coming years.

7 Walloon stores remain

Following the recent closure of the two Brussels stores and a number of Walloon locations in recent years, rumors began to swirl about Gamma’s possible exit from Belgium. That is not the case, according to a press release issued today by parent company Intergamma.
