The French cosmetics brand Nuxe has appointed Christine Delfaut-Sara, who has been a member of the management team since 2019, as its new CEO. She will take office on October 1 and succeed Muriel Koch, who led the company for eight years.
Experience in cosmetics
Delfaut-Sara will be tasked with guiding the company through a new phase of growth. “I accept this leadership role with gratitude and enthusiasm. I know I can count on extraordinary and passionate teams to continue driving our ambition with the pioneering spirit that is our strength,” Delfaut-Sara said in a press release.
Christine Delfaut-Sara brings more than 30 years of experience in the cosmetics industry. Before joining Nuxe, she worked for 17 years at Beiersdorf, the parent company of Nivea, in Germany. She then served as marketing director at Yves Rocher before joining Nuxe in 2019 as deputy director responsible for brand strategy.
Nuxe has been a well-known name in French pharmacy cosmetics for over 35 years, but under Koch, Nuxe has achieved particularly strong growth internationally. With more than 800 employees, Nuxe generates an estimated revenue of approximately 300 million euros. Today, the brand is available at more than 30,000 retail locations in 60 countries.
