The Swiss investment fund Partners Group announced Thursday that it has entered into exclusive negotiations to acquire the French natural beauty and wellness brand Aroma-Zone from the holding company Eurazeo.
Expanding into new markets
The current owner, Eurazeo, is expected to retain a significant minority stake in Aroma-Zone even after the transaction, the Swiss fund reported, without disclosing further details. Key priorities for Partners Group include scaling up Aroma-Zone’s platform to make its products available to more consumers, investing in product innovation, and expanding into existing and new markets.
Since 2021, Aroma-Zone has tripled its revenue and expanded its customer base to more than 5 million, the announcement added. According to its website, the retailer currently has 43 brick-and-mortar stores, only two of which are located outside France: one in Brussels (since 2022) and one in London. Its online store, however, operates internationally.
