Armani, who was always respectfully referred to as “Il Signor Armani,” passed away surrounded by his loved ones. Until the end, he continued to work tirelessly on his company and the many projects still in the pipeline. In the announcement, Armani Group emphasized that he created a vision that extended from fashion to every aspect of life. The Milanese fashion house describes him as someone who was always in dialogue with the public and who shared his passion for fashion and life with others.
The fashion house that bears his name was founded in 1975 and grew into a global player with annual sales of over 2.3 billion euros. The funeral will be held in private.
