Henkel is lowering expectations for 2025 after sales fell in the first half of the year. However, the extensive reorganisation of recent years is now bearing fruit, the company says.
Sales down, profits stable
In the second quarter, Henkel’s sales fell 5.5 % to 5.2 billion euros. For the first half year, sales fell 3.8 % to 10.4 billion euros, as organic sales were down 0.1 %. In the second quarter, Henkel managed to achieve organic growth of 0.9 % after a weak first quarter – especially in North America.
