Ice cream strongest Unilever division, but spin-off still on

Unilever has beaten analysts’s expectations in the first half of 2025. The sales of ice creams did particularly well, but the FMCG giant still wants to offload that division to focus less on food.

All lights green

Revenue increased by 3.4 % to 30.1 billion euros, a growth that came more from price increases (+ 1.9 %) than from higher volumes (+ 1.5 %). The results allow Unilever to stick to its previous annual revenue growth forecast of between 3 and 5 %. Operating profit too was was a better than expected at 5.8 billion euros, which means Unilever achieved a profit margin of 19.3 %.
