Yaya stores in Belgium and Luxembourg to close

Fashion11 January, 2022

Retail Concepts is closing its six Yaya branches in Belgium and Luxembourg by August. The group wants to focus entirely on its own concepts, A.S. Adventure and Juttu.

Focusing on core business

Retail Concepts has been a partner of Yaya since 2016 and currently operates six stores of the Dutch label: five in Belgium and one in Luxembourg. These will all close in 2022, as Retail Concepts wants to focus on its own multi-brand concepts, A.S.Adventure and Juttu. All six concerned Yaya stores will close their doors by mid-August. The sixteen employees will be able to work in the other chains of Retail Concepts.

The Belgian fashion group says it has had a strong year, with “results that even exceeded the record-breaking year that was 2019.” The fashion group now wants to continue that positive trend and will continue to be on the lookout for “new opportunities”.
