Game Mania is alive again, albeit only online. Doubts had been raised about that, as the company had missed its first three launch deadlines.

Game Mania’s web shops in Belgium and the Netherlands are back online: on the revamped platform, the company sells games for PlayStation (4 and 5), Nintendo (Switch and Switch 2) and Xbox (X/S and One).
Owner René van Tuijl had envisioned relaunching the Belgian and Dutch webshop “in the second quarter of 2025”, but that turned out to be impossible. The second (31 July) and third (13 August) deadlines had also proved too tight for the relaunch.
The game chain went bankrupt late last year, but in January Van Tuijl announced his intention to relaunch Game Mania as an “online price breaker.” In a further phase, physical stores might also be an option, but that step seems a long way off.
