American home furnishing chain Pottery Barn has opened a webshop for customers in the United Kingdom today. A pop-up store in London will follow later. It is its first own foray into Europe for the furniture giant.

British webshop

Starting today, the California-based premium furniture chain offers not only furniture collections, but also bed and bath linen, lighting, rugs, curtains, cushions and tableware to its British (online) customers.

Next month, Pottery Barn will also open a physical pop-up store on Tottenham Court Road in London, in the West Elm store. The group does not mention further physical expansion in its press release for now.

Pottery Barn is not entirely new in the UK: the chain already has a partnership with John Lewis for its kids collection, and is also available there in the two branches of its sister brand West Elm – both are subsidiaries of the huge Williams-Sonoma group.
