General18 October, 2021

The annual end-of-year party of the retail industry in the Benelux is back after it was forced to take a break. Mark 25 November in your diary and order your tickets now: booking early means getting a discount! Curious about the first names?

Unique venue

The RetailDetail Night formula will not change much: in the afternoon, there will be in-depth thematic seminars. In the evening, there will be a plenary session featuring the retail year overview by Professor Gino Van Ossel, the presentation of the RetailDetail Awards, international keynote speakers and extensive networking opportunities in between sessions and at the party afterwards.

The location is unique: at the iconic Stadsfeestzaal in the heart of Antwerp, participants will discover our brand new offices and our unique retail inspiration centre RetailHub. Easy to get to and with sufficient in-house parking spaces. Through this link, you can now order your tickets with a discount – offer valid until 29 October.

The Future of Food

The brand new book The Future of Food will have its official launch at RetailDetail Night. How can we continue to feed a growing world population healthily and sustainably? RetailDetail founder and co-author Jorg Snoeck will present his thought-provoking vision of the future and will introduce speakers with innovative business models in food: Stijn Martens from online supermarket Hopr, Quirin Dalemans from Deliveroo and ethno-marketeer Rachid Lamrabat from Tiqah are just some of the speakers. Participants will receive a copy of the book!

The boundaries of customer experience

The Gamechangers programme takes a look ahead: Which retail models are future-proof in a digital world post-Covid? What are the high expectations of tomorrow’s consumers? RetailDetail editor-in-chief Stefan Van Rompaey will introduce innovative retail concepts that push the boundaries of the customer experience. Joined by, among other, trend watcher Maarten Leyts from Trendwolves, entrepreneurs Jim Cantens and Guy Rietens from the concept store The Guest and Karl Lechat who created a new bicycle store chain for mobility player D’Ieteren.

Best Brochure of the Year

A regular on the RetailDetail Night is the Consumer Activation Forum hosted by BD myShopi. This year’s theme is ‘(Re)Connect – Get Phygital’. Communication expert Raf Weverbergh (FINN), trend watcher Herman Konings (Pocket Marketing), strategist Karel de Meester (Callebaut Collective) and research expert Carine Vaeremans (Profacts) will share their unique insights. The awards for the ‘Best Brochure of the Year’ will also be presented.

More names and details about the festive evening programme will be announced shortly. Book your reduced ticket here.
