Amazon is allocating some 44 billion dollars for large-scale investments in the United Kingdom and the United States over the coming years. The American tech giant is expanding primarily outside the major urban centers.
40 billion pounds for UK expansion
In the United Kingdom, Amazon is investing 40 billion pounds (47.5 billion euros) between 2025 and 2027. In the US, the investment amounts to over 4 billion dollars (3.7 billion euros) by the end of 2026. The investments are primarily aimed at improving delivery speed and strengthening Amazon’s position in less well-served regions.
