Coca-Cola expands bottling plant in Ghent

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Belgium and Luxembourg has invested 36 million euros in its production and distribution facility in Ghent. The company plans to increase capacity there from 350 to 450 million liters per year.

The renovated production and distribution facility in Ghent has undergone extensive upgrades over the past five years: an investment of 36 million euros, of which 15 million went toward, among other things, renovated offices and a new roof, and 21 million toward a new automated high-bay warehouse with space for approximately 10,800 additional pallets. Four fully automated stacker cranes can process 140 pallets—equivalent to 436,800 cans—per hour
