According to the commercial court of Barcelona, Mango has committed infringement of the intellectual property rights of Antoni Tàpies, Miquel Barceló, and Joan Miró. The incident occurred as part of a promotional campaign during the opening of a Mango store in New York. Five artworks from Mango’s private collection were transformed into non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and digitally distributed via social media and blockchain platforms.
