[In the picture] Renewed Inno Woluwe puts emphasis on experience and shopping comfort

Today, the Inno department store in Woluwe Shopping Centre reopens after a thorough renovation. Customers will discover a new store layout, new brands and digital applications.

Now also own brands

“With the remodelling of our department stores, we continue to build shop by shop on Inno’s strategic repositioning”, says CEO Armin Devender. “Like the previously remodelled branches, Inno Woluwe is now evolving into a premium department store with an exclusive look and unseen comfort for shoppers.”

Moreover, the product range is also expanding further. “We are very pleased to be able to offer our own brands from now on. Thanks to our new owners and the support of Åhléns, this fills a gap in our product range”, Devender said. “After the excellent results of recent years, we again expect favourable results for the recently closed financial year.”

Comfort and luxury

With every remodelling, Inno optimises the new store concept. In the previously remodelled shops, customers say they find their way better and appreciate the lounge areas. Therefore, the retailer in Woluwe went another step further, resulting in even greater shopping comfort and an even more modern, luxurious look.

Digital screens guide shoppers throughout the department store: touch screens at the escalators and lifts show customers the way in concrete terms; screens above the aisles and at the central cash desks inform them about interesting promotions and special offers; inspiring videos in the shop windows carry the atmosphere beyond the shop.

Premium brands

The layout of the department store also changed dramatically. Some departments were expanded, others moved to another floor. For example, the lingerie department moved to the first floor, next to women’s fashion, so that women can find everything they need on one floor. The shirt department moved to the second floor, near all the menswear brands, giving more space to the perfumery on the ground floor. Here, Kiko will open a shop-in-shop in a department store for the first time.

More than 40 new brands reinforce Inno Woluwe’s premium look, including Hugo Boss in the women’s department and Hacket and Calvin Klein Jeans in the men’s. In the jewellery department, brands such as Diamanti per Tutti and My Jewellry appear, and the handbags and luggage department moves to a more high-end positioning with the likes of Pinko, Coccinelle, Kurt Geiger and Cabaïa.
