Brico and Praxis owner slips into the red before rescue deal

Maxeda DIY Group, the parent company of Brico, BricoPlanit, and Praxis, ended its most recent fiscal year with a loss. The disappointing results foreshadowed a major refinancing effort, through which the DIY group aims to secure its financial future.

Debt extended

Maxeda ended the fiscal year, which ran from February 2025 through January 2026, in the red. A year earlier, the group had posted net revenue of 1.457 billion euros and gross operating profit (EBITDA) of 92 million euros.
