Four of the six Gamma DIY stores in Wallonia that are at risk of closing are reported to have found a buyer. For the 74 employees, however, this potential deal offers no certainty for the time being: the prospective buyer reportedly does not intend to retain the staff.

Six stores at risk

The employees were informed of this on Monday during an extraordinary works council meeting, according to reports by RTL Info and L’Echo. However, management has not yet disclosed many details. A buyer is reportedly in the picture for four of the six stores operated by the Bourrelier Group in Wallonia. Which locations these are and who the prospective buyer is remains unclear for now.
