Noukies declared bankrupt, but relaunches immediately

Belgian baby product brand Noukies has been declared bankrupt, but the founders’ three children have taken over the company and are launching “Noukies 2.0.”

Piled-up losses

Noukies’ bankruptcy follows years of sustained losses. In 2024, Noukies had a loss of 1.8 million euros, accounting for a total deficit of as much as 12.9 million euros since 2017. Founders Simon-Pierre Gilliot and Katia De Paepe subsequently decided to give up, causing minority shareholder Wallonie Entreprendre (20 %) to lose its stake.
