Amsterdam clothing brand Patta opens pop-up store in US and Asia

Patta, a clothing brand from Amsterdam, continues its international expansion with a first store in London and pop-up stores in the United States and Asia.

Second store 12 years after its first

The company did take its time: it opened its store in Amsterdam 12 years ago, but the second location (in London) opened three months ago. “At a certain time, we noticed we sold a lot, a whole lot, in England. We originally planned to head to the United States, but then we told each other we had to go to London first“, co-founder Edson Sabajo told AT5.

Patta aims to go to the United States soon though, with a planned pop-up store in Los Angeles. By the end of the year, Patta intends to open several Asian pop-up stores as well: target cities are Seoul, Shanghai, Tokyo and Bangkok. “We bring a little bit of Amsterdam to every city we visit”, Sabajo and his business partner Guillaume Schmidt said.
